One of Amazon's most-rated dehumidifiers, and nearly silent. But it removes only about 9 oz of water a day, an independent tester found it made no meaningful difference to a room, and durability is its biggest Amazon complaint.

Top complaints

  • Stops working after a few months

Durability is a negative aspect on Amazon (1,806 mentions), with several owners saying it stopped working after three months.

  • Too weak for most rooms

Housefresh found it couldn't remove enough moisture to have a meaningful effect in its test room and wouldn't recommend it for spaces larger than a small cupboard. Amazon owners are split on water removal (some say it collects no water) and power.

  • Dim indicator light; picky about temperature

Housefresh found the LED so dim it's hard to tell whether it's on during the day. Pro Breeze says it works best at 59-86°F and won't work below 41°F.

What owners love

  • Very quiet

Housefresh measured 35.5 dBA at 3 ft in a 35 dBA room. Noise level is the top Amazon positive (2,445 mentions).

  • Compact and simple

Compact size and moisture removal are Amazon positives, especially for bathrooms and small spaces. It is one-button, with auto shut-off when full.

  • Cheap to buy and run

Housefresh says it costs under $50, measured 41.1 W at top speed and estimated about $31.77 a year at 12 hours a day.

What experts say

  • Housefresh: Not recommended for most people (2026-06-28): small and quiet, but the extraction rate is too low for anything bigger than a small cupboard; it suggests the Midea Cube 20 instead.
