Wirecutter tested it and notes the UL-certified battery, but it has no heated collar. The included 2,250 mAh battery is small: Fieldsheer itself promises only 2+ hours on high. There's almost no owner feedback to go on. Fieldsheer's heated socks (not this vest) were recalled in 2025.

In the box: Yes. A 7.4V 2,250 mAh Powersheer Mini battery and USB-C cable (maker). A 4,000 mAh battery is sold separately

Top complaints

  • Short run time on high

Fieldsheer lists 2+ hours on high, 3+ on medium-high, 4+ on medium-low and 9+ on low from the included 2,250 mAh battery. A bigger 4,000 mAh pack costs extra.

  • No heated collar

Wirecutter notes it lacks a collar heating zone like the Ororo's.

  • Slow to recharge

Fieldsheer says a full charge takes 4–5 hours on a 5V/2.1A USB charger.

What owners love

  • UL-certified battery

Wirecutter confirmed the battery is UL certified.

  • Four heat settings

It has four settings from 90 to 135 degrees (unit not stated) across two chest zones and one back zone (maker).

  • Easy care

Fieldsheer allows a cold, gentle machine wash and a low tumble dry once the battery is removed.

Good for
  • Shoppers who want a UL-certified battery
  • Mild cold on the low setting (9+ hours claimed)
  • Fine-tuning heat (four settings)
