A credit-card-thin tracker that PCMag names best for wallets. Tom's Guide, though, says it can't recommend relying on it: range topped out at 75 feet, the alarm is hard to hear inside a wallet, the battery is sealed, and Wirecutter no longer recommends Tile at all.

Subscription: Optional: Tile Premium ($2.99/mo or $29.99/yr) adds Smart Alerts for left-behind items and 30-day history; Premium Protect is $99/yr (PCMag)

What experts say

  • PCMag: Best tracker for your wallet (3.0, Average; updated 2026-07-10). Cons: lacks detailed location and the wallet muffles the alert.
  • Tom's Guide: Not recommended for wallets: great design but uneven performance, with range far below the promise.
