A 26-lb, 12-inch propane oven that Tom's Guide and Serious Eats both pick for small spaces, with a forgiving rolling flame. It has no temperature display, only fits 12-inch pies, and is new (launched February 2026), so there is little long-term owner data.

Top complaints

  • 12-inch limit and narrow opening

Tom's Guide says some will feel restricted by the 12-inch capacity. Serious Eats says, as with all small ovens, you must take greater care moving and turning pies through the narrow opening (12.8 x 3.3 inches).

  • No temperature display

Unlike the regular Arc, it has no built-in temperature readout, so Tom's Guide relied on an infrared thermometer.

  • Costs more than the Koda 12 on sale

Serious Eats notes it costs more than the similar (now-discontinued) Ooni Koda 12 when that model is on sale.

What owners love

  • Light and compact

At about 26 lb with built-in handles, Tom's Guide names it the most portable pick and easily lifted it onto a small patio table.

  • Forgiving rolling flame

The side flame rolls under the dome, so Tom's Guide saw less difference between the near and far sides than it expected and found the oven forgiving for beginners.

  • Underside stays cool

Tom's Guide found the underside barely warm on a thin metal table, though Gozney still says to use it on a non-combustible surface.

Good for
  • Balconies and small patios
  • Carrying to the park or campsite
  • Beginners making 12-inch pies

What experts say

  • Tom's Guide: Most compact and portable pick, fairly priced with a quick preheat; there's no temperature display, and it isn't ideal for big groups.
  • Serious Eats: Best compact pizza oven: intuitive and quick to set up; take care with the narrow opening.
