Wirecutter's top pick: a 17-pound unit with four grounded AC outlets that ran a full-size fridge in its tests. OutdoorGearLab measured only 81% of its rated capacity, found the fan loud and the 220 W solar input low, and Amazon owners are split on battery life and output.
Top complaints
- Less usable capacity than advertised
OutdoorGearLab measured about 600-620 Wh out of the rated 768 Wh (81%) and lists lower-than-advertised capacity as a con. Amazon's summary says battery life gets mixed reviews: some owners run a car fridge for 36 hours, while others say it lasted only 12 minutes or failed after 11 months.
- Loud, unpredictable fan
OutdoorGearLab describes high-pitched fan noise that's hard to ignore during charging and high-draw use.
- Limited solar input and one USB-C port
Solar input tops out at 220 W, about 4 hours with a 200 W panel in ideal sun (OutdoorGearLab). Wirecutter's long-term tester's main gripe is that it has just one USB-C port. Amazon owners are split on power output, with some saying it barely delivers 140 W.
What owners love
- Lots of power for its size
Wirecutter ran its 127 W fan for 8 hours and measured 851 W peak output (800 W rated), and says it ran even a full-size fridge. It has four grounded AC outlets, three USB-A and one USB-C.

OutdoorGearLab measured a full charge in about 75 minutes. Wirecutter's long-term tester says it takes just over an hour. Amazon owners report going from 28% to 100% in about 45 minutes.
- Sturdy, simple and well supported
Hard plastic shell, rubber feet, a clear screen and a 5-year warranty. Wirecutter's tester saw only minor scuffs after six months.

- OutdoorGearLab: Ranked 10th of 14 (score 61, review 2026-01-13): compact and quick-charging, but lower-than-advertised capacity, low solar input and a loud fan.
