The premium 3-in-1 (heater, fan and HEPA purifier) that Tom's Guide and HGTV pick for air purification. But it costs about $660, plus an $80 filter each year, and HGTV calls it primarily an air purifier. Walmart's lowest-rated owners say heat mode is loud and some units arrived broken or died early.

Top complaints

  • Very expensive, plus yearly filters

Tom's Guide lists the high price and yearly filter cost as cons; the 360° HEPA and carbon filter is $79.99 and should be replaced every 12 months. HGTV calls the price its biggest drawback, and Walmart's review summary says the cost isn't justified.

  • Loud in heat mode; early failures

Walmart's lowest-rated reviews include an owner whose first unit died within a week and who found heat mode extremely loud, another who received a smashed unit, and another who says it is noisy at idle and won't rotate. Tom's Guide cites Dyson's 63 dB figure at full speed.

  • App lag and connection drops

Tom's Guide lists 'the app often loses connection' and lag between app and machine as cons, although its reviewer also says it never dropped out. A Walmart 1-star reviewer complains they couldn't control the heater from their phone.

What owners love

  • Fast, even, breeze-like heat

Tom's Guide warmed a small living room in about five minutes and says the 350° oscillation spreads heat like a warm breeze rather than a blast.

  • Three appliances in one

HGTV praises its air purification, powerful fan and remote; Tom's Guide found it cleared cooking odors and room spray in seconds.

  • Safety-minded design

HGTV and Tom's Guide list a bladeless design, an automatic tip-over switch, thermal safety cutoff, no exposed heating elements and an auto shutdown timer; there is a 2-year warranty.

  • HGTV: Best with air purifier (updated 2026-09-16): great purification and a powerful fan, but 'primarily an air purifier' with an expensive price.
