If that catch is a deal-breaker

Highly ranked window-cleaning robots whose biggest complaint is something else.

#1 in window-cleaning robotsEcovacs WINBOT W2S OMNI Window Cleaning Robot

Trusted Reviews found its cleaning brilliant and its grip secure, with edge scrubbers for corners. But it was noisy, the spray blew away in a breeze, it won't fit small windows, and the tester didn't save time because they felt they had to watch it.

Its catch: needs watching, saves little time#3 in window-cleaning robotsEcovacs WINBOT W2 Omni Window Cleaning Robot

The 2024 model that Tom's Guide raved about for streak-free floor-to-ceiling windows. How-To Geek and Reviewed liked the cleaning too, but found missed corners, lost suction on gapped panes, and too niche a use for the price.

Its catch: lost suction on gapped panes#4 in window-cleaning robotsEcovacs WINBOT W1 Pro Window Cleaning Robot

Techlicious found it streak-free with excellent suction, but it must stay plugged in, is loud (68-73 dB in tests), and won't fit mullioned or curved windows. CHOICE adds that the cleaning fluid makes it costly to run.

Its catch: tied to an outlet
