Top complaints

Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete

  • Hard-floor pickup and stain removal disputed

RTINGS found it leaves a notable amount of fine and medium debris on hard floors, switches off its side brush in areas it flags as heavily soiled, and does a sub-par job on dried stains even after a second pass. Tom's Guide instead scored 100% on linoleum and found the mopping outstanding on dried soy sauce and mud.

  • Mop wash not as hot as advertised

Dreame advertises 100 °C (212 °F) mop washing, but RTINGS measured water near the mop pad that fell well short; a staff reply in the comments put it at about 25-30 °C. Residue stayed on the pads after a wash.

  • Bulky dock and tiresome upkeep

Tom's Guide says the dock is bulky and needs significant floor space. RTINGS calls it somewhat tiresome to maintain: the onboard bin is small and fills quickly, the dock's practical capacity is lower than its predecessor's, the heater needs descaling every six months, the dirty-water tank can smell, and the app shows ads.

Narwal Freo X10 Pro Robot Vacuum and Mop

  • Slow cleaning runs

Wirecutter says its thoroughness means longer-than-average runs, especially on a dirty carpet. Non-AI modes are faster but less thorough.

  • Spinning mops can spread messes

Wirecutter says spinning mops tend to spread and dilute large puddles and can track wet mud. MacStories noticed visible dampness in its wake, though the floor dried quickly.

  • Gets lost or stuck; needs tidying

Wirecutter found it sometimes couldn't locate itself after items moved; moving the dock likely needs a map reset, and it can snag on carpet edges or cords. MacStories says it occasionally gets stuck, needs cables cleared, struggles with light bath mats and can't reach every tight spot.
