HouseFresh and TechGearLab both say its carbon is impregnated fabric, which is less effective than pelleted carbon. Amazon's review summary calls odor removal mixed, with some owners complaining of a bad smell.

Wirecutter measured 68.7 W on high and HouseFresh 75.3 W. Some Amazon owners find the blue air-quality light too bright for sleep. TechGearLab notes carbon changes every 6 months and HEPA every 12.

Wirecutter says the touchscreen has no physical cues, which may be hard for people with visual or dexterity impairments, and there is no app-connected version. HouseFresh also lists no app support and buttons that aren't backlit.
